Johann Sebastian Bach who originally belonged to Germany was one of the greatest composers of all times.
While India celebrated Holi on 21st March, internationally google doodle had an AI-enabled Bach doodle while in India, we saw Holi doodle.
Who was Johann Sebastian Bach?
Bach was born to musicians. His father Johann Ambrosius Bach, who was director of musicians in his town of Eisenach. He was probably his first teacher.
After being orphan at the age of 10, he lived with his brother who taught him Clavichord and contemporary music.
Team Google worked very hard to come up with this
It took many teams to accomplish this doodle. A designing team, a coding team, and probably some music experts as well. Artificial Intelligence is a hard row to hoe.
Plato rightly said “Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.”
This Google doodle enables you to make concert level music. Yes! that’s right, even if you do not know anything about music.
It’s possible because of Google’s machine learning that was developed by Google’s Magenta team. The concept is PAIR or People + AI Research and the machine learning model is Coconut. They used 306 Bach chorale harmonizations as reference and designing team made it look real. The interface is simply awesome and opens a music box through which you enter into the musical world of Bach and can create your own music later.
When you click on the box, Bach himself starts introducing himself and brings forward notes, tones and melodies.
Following intro, you are yourself encouraged to make your tune. Even if you create random notes, this doodle’s AI converts them into an astounding piece of music. You can also share this creation with your contacts.
The Calander confusion
