The third phase of Lok Sabha Elections is underway today.

Amidst new celebrities and faces joining political parties, Jawed Habib became Chowkidar of the country after being the Chowkidar of hairs till now, as per his statement. 

“I am happy to join the BJP as I have seen the changes brought in the country by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last five years. I think nobody should be ashamed of their background when the prime minister is proud to state that he was a ‘chaiwala’ then why should I be ashamed of calling myself a ‘nai’ (barber). Till today, I was a chowkidar of hair but now onwards, I am the country’s chowkidar,” 

It is to be noted that Jawed Habib has over 800 shops worldwide. 

Sunny Deol- Dhai Kilo 

Hema Malini is already contesting for BJP, her son Sunny is also in the field. Amit Shah met Sunny some times back after which speculations about him contesting from Gurdaspur sears were quite high. BJP is currently in alliance with Shiromani Akali Dal in Punjab. It was held by late Vinod Khanna and was left vacant after his demise in 2017.
