While the world is fighting with coronavirus pandemic, as of now there have been 1,79,111 confirmed cases detected, 7,426 deaths because of COVID-19 but 82,866 have also recovered from it. While countries like China(from where it originated), Italy and Iran top the list with the most number of cases, countries like the USA are not far behind with a total of 3503 cases detected so far. A total of 58 people have died because of the Virus when this article is being written. Meanwhile, there are many Celebrities diagnosed positive with corona.
It is a matter of debate that whether normal people are more prone to exposure or famous people like celebrities, or politicians have higher chances of getting infected. COVID-19 is, after all, a virus only, which is just like another virus, however, it can be said that people who work in harsh conditions and who are unhygienic at times might have developed better immunity against the virus. On the other hand celebrities and politicians, with all the health services and financial power, are better equipped to combat this pandemic. They can afford costly sanitizers, can disinfect themselves more frequently and eat foods that can boost their immunity.
Although Donald Trump was recently tested negative for the virus, many celebrities, in spite of all the financial and medical facilities, have been seen getting contaminated with COVID-19. Let’s look at some of them:
Tom Hanks- Best among Celebrities diagnosed positive with corona
Tom Hanks, Forest Gump star announced on Twitter that he was tested positive for coronavirus in Australia. This tweet has more than 1 million like so far with nearly the whole world praying for the famous couple.

Idris Elba
Idrissa Akuna Elba, who has been awarded Order of the British Empire which is The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for his work as an actor, writer, producer, musician, DJ, rapper, and singer. Although he had no symptoms of COVID-19, he was diagnosed positive for the virus. He also iterated that this is really serious and we shall take precautions no matter what.

Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell
Rudy Gobert is a French by birth but plays for Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association was the first NBA athlete tested positive for COVID-19. It was because of him that all games were suspended by the NBA for a minimum of one month. He apologized for his carelessness after he was tested positive, but he donated more than $500,000 for the cause. His teammate Donovan Mitchell was also tested positive for the virus, however like Idris has no signs of illness.

Sophie Grégoire Trudeau
Sophie is the wife of the prime minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau. As per PMO of Canada, “She will remain in isolation for the time being. She is feeling well, is taking all the recommended precautions and her symptoms remain mild.” Imagine if Canda’s PM’s wife can be infected, shall we not take precautions?

Another wife of a prime minister! She is the wife of the Spanish prime minister, Pedro Sánchez Pérez-Castejón. PM and his wife are in quarantine after the results.

Olga Konstantinovna Kurylenko who is a Ukrainian-born French actress is famous for playing Bond girl Camille Montes alongside Daniel Craig in Quantum of Solace movie. She posted that she has “Locked up at home after having tested positive for Coronavirus.”
Apart from these Michał Woś who is Polish environment minister, Franck Riester current French Minister of Culture and athletes like Callum Hudson-Odoi, Blaise Matuidi, Fernando Gaviria and Dmitry Strakhov have also been tested positive for Corona.
