As per Google, the spring season is starting on 20th March in Northern Hemisphere. Google celebrated the occasion with an exalted doodle that showed a bunny in a Hot air balloon with waterdrops, leaves and beautiful patterns. We noticed the Google doodle suddenly disappeared from the Google homepage as this article was being written!
Spring Season
Out of one of the four temperate seasons, spring, summer, autumn (fall) and winter, spring, also known as springtime is known for ideas of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection, and regrowth. The onset of Spring also stands for Equinox days. It means that days and nights are approximately equal and are of twelve hours. Since we are in Northern Hemisphere(India), the March equinox is called the vernal or spring equinox. Since spring arrives after winters, days become larger as the spring progresses.
It is to be noted that in Northern Hemisphere since earth is tilting more towards the sun, the earth receives more sunlight because of which new plant growth is fostered.
