The Earth Flag, which was structured by John McConnell, has been portrayed as a “flag for all individuals.” It includes a two-sided colour printed picture of the Earth from space on a dark blue field, produced using recyclable, climate-safe polyester. Margaret Mead accepted that a flag as a banner which demonstrated the Earth as observed from space was suitable.
People around the globe observe this day in various methods like planting trees, cleaning the road waste, directing different projects for spreading the importance of reusing and conservation, and utilizing recyclable containers. TV channels on that day play programs related to ecological issues. In India, lights and other electrical appliances are appealed to put switched-off for at least 30 minutes so that it can conserve electricity.

As climatic change is a huge issue for the world now, it is also a vast challenge to curb the situation.
