Philippines hit by 6.3 magnitude Earthquake on Earth Day

Wikipedia defines An earthquake (also known as a quaketremor or temblor) is the shaking of the surface of the Earth, resulting from the sudden release of energy in the Earth’s lithosphere that creates seismic waves. 

Today an earthquake was felt in parts of Metro Manila and Luzon with epicentre in Zambales with a magnitude of 6.3 on Richter Scale. 

It is to be noted that today World Celebrates World Earth Day.
